[edit] Page move to Kabal?

Since Kabal simply redirects here, couldn't this page be moved there to remove the then unecessary (Mortal Kombat) from the title? MarphyBlack 18:58, 21 July 2006 (UTC)

Since we've already changed all the links, I don't really see the point. Eventually some other notable Kabal will be written about, and we'd have to move it back, so I figure it's best just to leave it the way it is. Virogtheconq 03:12, 22 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Special Forces

Should't Special Forces be listed as one of his appareances? Sure, he is a common thug with no importance in the game, but his model still is there protecting a console pannel in the Sewers. And checking the cd data, his model does have his name there. Just because he has no spoken dialogues or importance doesn't mean he didn't tried to stop Jax, even as a common enemy and not a boss. It's not the "real" Kabal, though. That particular thug is simply using the leftover content that would have been him. As covered by this source, most of the enemy character models in Special Forces were used quite haphazardly with no consideration as to what that particular character was supposed to be. Therefore, you have club DJs running around in sewers and fellow Special Forces solders blasting Jax with grenade launchers from atop bridges. Therefore, I don't think this can be considered a real appearance for Kabal. MarphyBlack 05:31, 12 November 2006 (UTC)
That link is awesome. Yeah I get your point, though that since that was Kabal's likeness it could still be considered him, only as a minor role (thanks to the staff not caring in renaming him, there's nothing stating its not him). Even if most character are completely out of place, there are some that can still be considered for what they originally were (like most Black Dragons like No Neck, Quin and Malcolm. Being sewer thug don't detract they were originally boss characters. Its just their role is minor). But I understand the point. A shame really, Special Forces didn't deserved this. I'll forever hate Tobias for this. And thanks for the quick reply. 201.255.30.2 05:59, 12 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Being to Powerful in MK3?

It was mentioned by Ed Boon that Kabal was considered too powerful and they had to tuned down his power, I'm including this in the Trivia section. Ace Fighter 01:09, 19 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:UMK3 Kabal.jpg

Image:UMK3 Kabal.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
