Kaare Andrews

Kaare Andrews is a comic book writer and artist and filmmaker born in Canada.

Comics he has worked on include Incredible Hulk, Ultimate X-Men, Gen¹³, Amazing Spider-Man and The Matrix comics.

He has been recognized for his comics work by winning the "Outstanding Comicbook Artist" Award (2005) at Canada's first national award for comics, the Joe Shuster Awards for "Spider-Man/Doctor Octopus: Year One". He has been nominated for an Eisner Award and won "the Squiddy Award for Best Comics Cover Artist (2002).

He has also done work on album design, such as Tegan and Sara's 2002 album, If It Was You, as well as directing their music video "Living Room." Andrews has also directed multiple award winning short films and PSAs.

Andrews did a 4 issue mini-series for Marvel known as Spider-Man: Reign set 35 years in the future staring a retired Spider-man.
