That's a complete fabrication.

K-50 is Vietnamese, English is type 50. Kiểu is abbreviated to K, Kiểu is type.

Kiểu is the translation from Chinese 50式冲锋枪 (type 50 assault gun), name of Chinese version of Russian MP type gun, that its name is PPSh-41. first appearance of Kiểu-50 in Vietnam at 1957. Chinese name of Russian PPSh-41 is "波波沙式7,62MM冲锋枪" (pa pa sha 7.62mm assault gun).

At wartime, Vietnamese making some gun, as CT-62 (RPG-2, CT=Chống Tăng=anti tank), as B40 (other version CT-62), as B41 (RPG-7), as DKB (artillery). But, Vietnamese was never make PPSh-41 type.

In 1945-1954 phase of war, Vietnamese try to make MAS type gun, but, no completed.
