What's the source for her last name? Cho? I thought it was unknown.

[edit] name
I've looked for her name in kanji but can't find it. Perhaps she isn't Japanese but zainichi Korean? I can't find anything that mentions this either way. Brettr 10:47, 24 June 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Korean Name
For offical Site didn't Speak Jyongri's Korean Name, It isn't Clear.
Family name is Clear cause It though cho's pronunciation is 조[jo/cho, able both] or 초[cho], in korea, don't exist 초[cho] in Family Name. But I can't Divide Jyongri's Name is 정리[jeong-ri] or 종리[jong-ri] Even I'm Korean. For Example, My Name is Jeong, Kwang-chae(정광채.Jeong is Family Name). But Roman Characters are able to Jung/Jeong/Jyong(Straight spell is Jeong but I use Jung in my passport).
In This Case, Japanese Spelling is ジョンリ even though Jeong-Ri(정리) or Jong-Ri(종리). But I Think 종리[Jong-ri] isn't include 'Y' and even though who has named it, who will write 'JongRi' not 'Jyongri' in Roman Characters.(I Think reason for wrote 'jyongri' is japanese can't pronunce 'eo' and there isn't 'eo' in japanese character kana)
so I Want to change from 종리[jong-ri] to 정리[Jeong-ri]. --EerieKwang 14:03, 24 July 2007 (UTC)
- Her family might be zainichi Korean, so they have lived in Japan for a long time and lost a lot of their Korean history. I don't know, there doesn't seem to be much information about this anywhere. Brettr 04:20, 24 July 2007 (UTC)

- I'm Korean as well, and I can't find her Kanji name or her Korean name. She should have a Korean name, given that she was born in Japan. I'm pretty sure Japanese citizens are required to have Kanji names. Maybe it'll pop up on the Net someday.
-
- As for her Korean name, I'm pretty unsure which one it is. Maybe it should just be taken down because we don't have the proper info.
-
- And I'm sorry for incorrectly writing her name in Japanese. My username is incorrect itself; I fail at writing things in Katakana. Who would guess that "coffee" was "koohii" on their first time? --Anzuru 07:09, 18 August 2007 (UTC)

- Jyongri in Katakana is ジョンリ. It doesn't matter. Problem is that Everyone(Netizen or her Fans) don't know her korean Name. Pronounciation of Katakana maybe 정리/종리[Jeongri/Jongri], In Shortly, Not sure correctly by hangul.--EerieKwang 08:41, 24 August 2007 (UTC)
