how could he have been the author of a book written the year after he was born?

Having reviewed the source from which that bizarre claim was made - it appears that actually he wrote a commentary on the 1501 work, some 50 years later! The source is badly worded VivaEmilyDavies 22:03, 9 Apr 2005 (UTC)
