how could he have been the author of a book written the year after he was born?
- Having reviewed the source from which that bizarre claim was made - it appears that actually he wrote a commentary on the 1501 work, some 50 years later! The source is badly worded VivaEmilyDavies 22:03, 9 Apr 2005 (UTC)

Yuktibhasa was written in 1550 and is a commentary on Tantra-samgraha (1501). Compare in: http://www-gap.dcs.st-and.ac.uk/~history/Biographies/Nilakantha.html
