[edit] Gear?
Does anyone have any idea what synth Justice uses for the deep bass found in the songs "Let There Be Light" and "D.A.N.C.E."? I'm fairly certain it's the exact same synth both times. Another version of the sound (though highly distorted) may be the bass used in "Waters of Nazareth." I'm dying to know. Actually, they use a bass guitar that's heavily edited in Cuebase. I asked Gaspard and he said that they use a Juno 6 for alot of stuff, he also said they use Cubase SX for all their songwriting and arrangement. I would think that a heavily distorted bass guitar woudl account for most of their bass sounds.
[edit] Christian Dance?
Justice always seem to use a lot of Christian iconography.
Are they indeed Christian, or is it done just as a 'gimmick'?
Should Justice also be listed as Christian in the genres section. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Jacobtaylor1987 (talk • contribs) 09:28, 9 May 2007 (UTC).
It's just a gimmick, they're not particularly Christian. PlazzTT 13:28, 10 May 2007 (UTC)
I'm curious, does anyone have a link that talks more about this? ~~
They actually do refer to themselves as "Christian/Club" on their myspace page, but I'm pretty sure it's a joke. Reliable sources seem to believe that the Christian imagery comes from heavy metal (esp. Metallica) more than anything else.--P4k 21:18, 6 July 2007 (UTC)
- Genres on MySpace aren't reliable - have no idea who manages the MySpace half of the time. Douglasr007 20:45, 11 July 2007 (UTC)

- If I'm being unclear, I think there's a 0% chance Justice are actually Christian.--P4k 00:26, 12 July 2007 (UTC)
- For some more insight to them being Christian, an interview in Dummy Magazine sheds some light on it (on pg. 38). [1]Cjbxz 04:57, 13 September 2007 (UTC)
- Thanks for the link, but the article is rather ambiguous concerning it (not to mention that the section concerning the cross imagery seems haphazardly tacked onto the paragraph). His statements seem, again, ambiguous, and don't really clarify enough beyond what is already known.--C.Logan 19:43, 19 September 2007 (UTC)
- I believe that a recent Blender interview might be a little more clear and plain. I haven't seen it, but I'm told they deny any affiliation with the religion.--C.Logan 21:03, 19 September 2007 (UTC)
- In an interview i watched, quite likely on youtube, Xavier claims the cross began whilst making graphics and logos for the band in which the "t" of "Justice" turned into a cross to stand out in the middle. Furthered by appreciation of the rock symbolism e.g Ozzy Osbourne etc developed into their signature symbol —Preceding unsigned comment added by 58.160.99.7 (talk) 14:33, 4 January 2008 (UTC)

Regardless of whether or not they are personally Christians, it seems odd that their music would be labeled as so, as it's mainly dance music. In general, though 'christian' music isn't a genre...it's really just a marketing ploy and, at best, describes the lyrics...not necessarily the music. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 156.98.171.81 (talk) 15:46, 26 March 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Relationship with Lockin' Out Records
The band has a relationship with Lockin' Out Records that deserves investigation. They have an EP and an LP on that label: Link -- Blueshango 02:42, 3 July 2007 (UTC)
- That's a different band.--P4k 23:34, 4 July 2007 (UTC)

- My bad. I mistook the Justice logo on the t-shirt for the EP single as the Justice logo for the French band. -- Blueshango 02:33, 7 July 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Metallica remix
Although a remixed version of 'Master of puppets' has been played at live shows, no mp3 is seen to be available which is the general outlet for remixes and has been the case for all previous justice remixes. Is it justified (no pun intended) to list this as a Remix of the band. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 58.160.99.7 (talk) 14:36, 4 January 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Fabric Mix
The official page at Fabric does not contain information regarding the release of a mix cd by Justice —Preceding unsigned comment added by 200.13.22.47 (talk) 19:20, 8 April 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Pronunciation
Pronunciation - is it worth including a mention of how the band's name is to be pronounced - ie, is it as in English or as in French? I'd add it myself but don't actually know... —Preceding unsigned comment added by 128.243.220.42 (talk) 17:45, 5 June 2008 (UTC)
