[edit] Unsupported point of view removed

It is argued that JustUsBoys is no longer that as it's abandoned its primary audience which built the site. Many users suggest that the site ought to change its name due to the high profile presence within the forums by heterosexual women and the transgendered.

Actually, out of the 115,000 members, and hundreds of thousands of postings at the site, virtually no mention that the site should be renamed because the members no longer is solely a gay male interest audience. The above opinion has been removed, and the paragrah re-written to account for a truer picture of experience from a JUB regular. The site is continually evolving and has come a long way from its initial linkmeallover (LMAO) days, and the diversity in its membership can be seen through the frequent interaction between JUB members in the forums.

What makes the site so popular and attracting non-gay men such as the heterosxual women and others is the sense of community there. Expressions of concern are given to members who express openly the major changes in their life, such as the death of a parent, or the loss of a loved one. People from all backgrounds and sexual persuasions are there often in the Hot Topics section to chat about things and events. People make friends and there are sometime real life meetings where friends both male and female gather at destinations to socialise. The evolution of the site from its initial beginnings to its present form still largely caters to the gay man. It is open access to all adults who wish to join irrespective of their sexual leanings, but the majority are gay men, so its primary audience is still there. There are even active JUBbers who have been there since the site was first launched, and before when it was LMAO. They don't complain or argue about JUB having abandoned them, which makes that opinion specious. Daikon 23:01, 8 September 2007 (UTC)
