Justin Drew Lanning (born November 28th, 1985 in Los Angeles) is an American pop rock musician, who emerged onto the music scene in 2007. He's been popular in Los Angeles since 2005.

He grew up in Los Angeles, California. He attended Beverly Hills High until he went on tour in Europe and he was forced to take a proficiency test. He is a vegetarian and he promotes vegetarianism on his myspace. His parents are Nancee and George Lanning and he has two sisters, Alex (a former model) and Skylar. He has two dogs, Spot and Vanilla.

Justin Lanning was part of and indie band Kulprit, but eventually went solo to release a self titled indie CD Justin Lanning. In 2005, Justin was on Ryan Cabrera's TV show Score. In early 2007, Justin released his single Behind These Eyes which got recognition from radio stations around the US and in July 2007 he released Behind These Eyes the CD.

Justin's world is Justin's you tube show. The show is currently on break and fans are eagerly waiting for Justin's World season two. Many of Justin's fans want the show to come out on DVD.

Justin has been in several commercials and TV shows. He is most recognized for his appearance on Ryan Cabrera's MTV show Score. He was also on MTV's My Own, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, Boston Public, and Wings. He appeared in the Doritos commercial, a taco bell commercial and several others.

Justin was on MTV's Score in 2005. He wrote the song Closer To You on the show and surprised Ryan Cabrera with the catchy lyrics.
Lover in the sun... and maybe you'll make me come...... closer to you
That lyric got him in the promotional commercials for the television show in mid-2005. He performed the song live at the Avalon in Los Angeles, California and won the contest. He won a trip to Cabo San Lucas with Zoe, the girl he was trying to win on the show.

Behind These Eyes was Justin's most popular release to date. His hit single, Behind These Eyes, is on radio stations around the US. He recently did a small promotional tour in Alexandria, Louisiana.
