Justice minister

A minister for justice, or justice minister, is a ministerial position in the governments of some countries, with general responsibility for policing and the maintenance of public order. The minister of justice may also be responsible for the justice system, and in some countries has responsibility for general elections.

In some countries, the interior minister is the responsible for policing and law enforcement and the justice minister is responsible for the maintenance of the legal system. In other countries, the attorney general is responsible for the justice system.
