"Just Like Jesse James" is the third North American and second European official single release from American singer/actress Cher's twentieth album Heart of Stone and was written by Desmond Child and Diane Warren. The song peaked at #8 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in January of 1990. Cher has stated during concert performances that she never cared much for the song, in part because there are so many lyrics in it that she has to sing, but she acknowledges that many of her fans cite the song as one of their favorites. For this reason she added the song to her Farewell Tour.

[edit] "Music video"

Since at least November 13, 2007, a falsely named "Rare Original Music Video" of "Just Like Jesse James" has been circulating on YouTube. It is believed that this video consists of clips of western movies and earlier Cher music videos.
