Jurong East Bus Interchange (Simplified Chinese: 裕廊东巴士转换站 | Traditional Chinese: 裕廊東巴士轉換站) is a bus interchange located in Jurong East, Singapore. An open-air single-level bus terminal, it is directly connected to the adjacent Jurong East MRT Station. As it is located in the Jurong East Regional Centre, the interchange serves as an important bus transport node for the western part of Singapore alongside the Woodlands Regional Bus Interchange in the north, and the Tampines Bus Interchange in the east.
The current interchange was built in the 1980s, which resulted in most bus services terminating at the Teban Gardens Terminal being re-routed to this interchange. For years, however, the interchange has had a rather low level of passenger flow compared to the larger Boon Lay Bus Interchange serving Jurong West New Town, the Jurong Industrial Estate, as well as institutions in the west including the Nanyang Technological University.

[edit] Redevelopment
There are indicative plans for a redevelopment of the bus interchange in the Urban Redevelopment Authority's Master Plan 2003.[1] With the URA's plans to upgrade Jurong East town centre into a regional centre, the interchange may be upgraded to a regional terminal. When the regional centre is developed, the interchange will be reconstructed underneath the MRT tracks to maximise land use, freeing up land for more intensive redevelopment.

All bus services that terminate at Jurong East bus interchange, with the exception of Jurong Island services, are operated by SBS Transit. Many trunk services that originate here connect to other major parts of the island.
