Temple is the daughter of film director Julien Temple,[1] and attended Bedales and Kings College in Taunton.

Temple began her career as a child actress in the 1997 film Vigo: Passion for Life, a film about Jean Vigo.[2]
She has won critical praise for several supporting roles. One reviewer said that she played her part in Notes on a Scandal with "petulance and angst,"[3] while her performance in Atonement has been called "impress[ive]."[4] She is attached to star in Jordan Scott's Cracks.
She has also appeared in Kid Harpoon's music video Milkmaid.
