Junior Witter (born 10 March 1974) is a professional boxer from Bradford, West Yorkshire, England.

He is the former WBC world light-welterweight champion, and has been a European, British and Commonwealth Light-Welterweight champion.

Witter has a fight record of 36 wins, 2 draws and 2 defeats, his first defeat was against Zab Judah in 2000 - The loss to Judah was a decision loss in Glasgow, Scotland. He lost his WBC belt on May 10 2008 to American boxer Timothy Bradley by way of a split decision.

He won the European Light-Welterweight title by beating Salvatore Battaglia in 2004. He won the British title by defeating Alan Bosworth in 2002, and took the Commonwealth title with a win over Laatekwei Hammond in 2002.

He successfully retained his WBC world light-welterweight title on 20 January 2007 with a ninth round stoppage of Mexican Arturo Morua at Alexandra Palace, and followed it up with a 7th round knockout of "Vicious" Vivian Harris.

Witter also belongs to the Golden Boy Stable ran by Oscar De La Hoya.

Witter has had a one-way rivalry with Ricky Hatton, though the two have never fought and Hatton has no interest in fighting him. Witter has repeatedly criticized Hatton's perceived "ducking" of a bout but Hatton doesn't think Witter is bringing enough to the table.

On May 10, 2008, Witter lost the WBC light-welterweight title to Timothy Bradley via split decision.

Following his loss against Bradley, Witter declared he would continue fighting at a professional level and vowed to return to the ring to reclaim his WBC crown. Bradley commented that "he would be happy to offer Witter a rematch if the money was right"
