Junia Claudilla

Junia Claudilla (d. AD 34, 36 or 37), [1] also known as Junia Claudia,[2] [3] was the first wife of the Roman Emperor Caligula before he came to power. They were married at Antium in 33. [4] Her father was a distinguished senator named Marcus Silanus. [5] She died in 34,[6] 36, [7] or early 37[8] while giving birth to Caligula's first child, which also did not survive. [9]
