[edit] Capitalization

I reversed part of your edit to Visible spectrum. I agree that there was no good reason for the names of the colors to be capitalized. That is not true of the other words you decapitalized. When we refer to the title of another article directly, it is appropriate to capitalize it the same way you would if referring to an article in a magazine or journal. Where the text says "See Color to understand why.", it is not referring to the concept of color, nor to the word color, but is referring, by name, to the Wikipedia article Color (to which it helpfully gives a link). The reference needs that capital letter for it to be clear to the reader that he is being advised to consult another article, rather than being told that he would understand if he were not colorblind.--Srleffler 06:58, 28 January 2007 (UTC)

Actually, the capitalisation section of Wikipedia:Manual of Style (links) says that both styles are allowed; the only proviso is to be consistent. Julesd 13:35, 28 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Argument to revert to capitalized "Morpholino"

You have edited the Morpholino page to remove capitalization of the word "Morpholino".

Morpholino is used as a trade name to describe morpholino phosphorodiamidate oligomers. Therefore it is appropriate to capitalize Morpholino, as you would capitalize Kleenex or Aspirin (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trade_name). The word "morpholino" is also used to describe chemical structures having morpholine rings as substituants; therefore the use of the uncapitalized "morpholino" to describe the morpholino phosphorodiamidate oligomers can be confusing. As the capitalization is appropriate for a trade name and the uncapitalized usage can be confusing, I strongly urge reversion to the capitalized usage.

Per your suggestion, I have reverted the Morpholino page to restore the capitalization of "Morpholino" and have added a comment about the trade name usage in the introductory section. I think this helps the article, thanks for your assistance.
