Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Interactive visualization. Wikipedia is not a mere directory of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam policy for further explanations. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. Hi, I deleted your recent article because it did not provide independent verifiable sources that it meets the notability guidelines. The only source was the company website, which is not independent. Another editor had tagged it as spam, presumably because it had little content apart from mentioning the flagship product. Jimfbleak. Talk to me.16:44, 17 July 2007 (UTC)
- I understand your point, and you are obviously free to recreate. I think it would help if the article was a bit longer, easy bits like where in France it is based would be non-contentious and informative. I still think you need some evidence of notability - if this company or its product really is notable, surely there must be data or articles in the trade press to assert this? I take your point about Dassault, and I've tagged that to allow other admins to consider whether it is time for it to go. Jimfbleak 05:24, 18 July 2007 (UTC)
