[edit] Maroons
The Queensland State of Origin Players article and this one seem to say that O'Neill played for both the Queensland State of Origin and Tri-Series teams in 1997. Is this correct? If it is, it's pretty interesting and should have an explanation in this article.--Jeff79 01:34, 4 May 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Off field
Julian is, for good or bad, infamous or notorious for his off-field antics as much as he is famour or notable for his on-field performances. People will look him up for info on the incidents, as well as looking up his playing record. Conversely, people interested in off-field incidents will appreciate the link to other interests. By removing the link, we're simply making it harder for users to get information that they may be interested in. I think that's missing the point. Dibo T | C 01:55, 10 May 2007 (UTC)
[edit] On field
I remember him better for his on field stuff. That whole pages existence is highly pov rubbish. --144.132.216.253 05:20, 10 May 2007 (UTC)
What are you talking about ? All 7 assertions in the Off the field section are statements of fact and there is no POV in any of them. Accuse me of not citing refs if you like but they are all NPOV statements. The only wording in the article that could br suggested to be POV is the weasel word under Club that "that it was hoped" he would take over as Broncos 5/8 from Wally Lewis and perhaps the assertion he was a sporting "prodigy" (though if the schoolboy rep appearances are true, then he clearly was) Sticks66 13:24, 10 May 2007 (UTC)
- The way I read it I think he might have been talking about the List of rugby league incidents page, not this one.--Jeff79 21:45, 10 May 2007 (UTC)
Oops, an over-reaction by me then Sticks66 14:32, 11 May 2007 (UTC)
