Julie Hyman

Julie Hyman is a stocks reporter and anchor on Bloomberg Television (USA). She currently hosts Taking Stock Bloomberg's flagship financial analysis programme.

Born in Montgomery, Alabama into cotton farming stock, Julie attendended Cheltenham Ladies' College, England and later the Sorbonne, Paris where she read the Classics and majored in Hellenistic-Roman poetry.

Julie began her career as journalist in 1995 at the Wall Street Journal, before moving to Bloomberg in 1998.
