Julian Barnes Lane was born October 21, 1914. He served as Mayor of the City of Tampa, Florida from 1959 - 1963.
Julian Lane graduated from the University of Florida with his Bachelors Degree, and then was a commissioned officer in the U.S. Army. He rose all the way to the rank of Lieutenant Colonel, and was also the President of the Tampa Bay Milk Producers.
