Julian Bleach

Julian Bleach is an English actor who is best known as co-creator and "M. C." of Shockheaded Peter, a musical entertainment based on the works of Heinrich Hoffmann,[1] which won the 2002 Olivier Award for Best Entertainment.[2] Trained at LAMDA, his other theatre work includes playing Ariel to Patrick Stewart's Prospero in the RSC's 2007 production of The Tempest.[3] He will be playing Mr Sowerberry in Cameron Mackintosh's revival of Oliver!, which opens on 14 January 2009.[4]
On television, he has starred as "The Monster" in the 2007 ITV adaptation of Frankenstein,[5] and guest starred as the villainous "Ghostmaker" in PJ Hammond's "From Out of the Rain" in the second series of Torchwood.[6] He also appears as the Grand Master in the second series of children's drama M.I.High.
