Julia Ettie Crane

Julia Ettie Crane (also known as Julia Etta Crane) (May 19, 1855-1923) was an American music educator, and the first person to set up a school, the Crane School of Music, for the training of music teachers.[1] She is among the most important figures in the history of American music education.[2]
Crane was inducted into the Music Educators Hall of Fame in 1986.[3]
