Jules Léon Austaut (1844-1929) was a French entomologist who specialised in Lepidoptera.He wrote Les Parnassiens De La Faune Palearctique Leipzig Ernst Heyne 1889. Lépidoptères asiatiques [sic] nouveaux. Internationale entomologische Zeitschrift 6(13): 87-89, 4 figs.(1912)
