Judy Oakes

Judith ("Judy") Oakes (born 14 February 1958) is a retired English shot putter.

She was given an Order of the British Empire in 1999.[1]

Her personal best put was 19.36 metres, achieved in August 1988 in Gateshead. This is the British record.[2]

Shen was World Champion at Powerlifting three times, and European Champion eight times. She still holds the British Squat Record with her 202.5kg from February 1989.
