Judith Blake is a Labour Councillor for Middleton Park Ward on Leeds City Council.
She was deputy leader of Leeds City Council until 2004 and is currently the deputy leader of the Labour group.[1]
In the 2005 General Election, Blake was the Labour Party candidate in the Leeds North West constituency where she was defeated by Liberal Democrat Greg Mulholland. The BBC described this result as a "shock".[2] In December 2007 she was selected to fight the seat again for Labour in the forthcoming general election.
