Judith Appelbaum (born 1939) is an American author and columnist.
Appelbaum has been a columnist and reviewer for The New York Times Book Review. She is also a managing editor of Publishers Weekly. Besides covering events and trends in the world of publishing, she has been a member of the faculty at the University of Denver's Publishing Institute. She is a frequent speaker at writers' conferences and other events concerning the publishing industry. She co-founded Sensible Solutions, a consulting firm which supports authors and publishers.
She is author of How To Get Happily Published.
