Judith (Jude) Dent (born 1st October, 1984) is an English photographer, one of Warwickshire's leading female photographers.

Born in County Durham, Jude moved to Warwickshire (Long Itchington) sometime during the 1990s. She enrolled at Southam High School and continued to study there despite moving to Grandborough.

It was at Southam School where she first realised her ambition was to become a photographer. After a brief stint working at Sainsbury's in Rugby, she became friends with Lee Francis. Much Viennetta was consumed! In 2003(?) she spent her first summer working abroad in Ibiza, where she took a few photographs along the way. She continued to work abroad for the next couple of years before settling down for a job at the photo centre in boots on the Parade in Leamington Spa. It was here that she really got into the art of Photography. Taking pictures of everyday things, and pretty much everything she encountered during an average day, she soon began wowing friends, family and strangers alike with her amazing action shots.

During one trip to West Midlands Safari Park in 2008 with some friends, she really hit top form, with some stunning shots of various animals. Her best simply entitled "Lion cubs playing".

Jude is not afraid to use Black and White either - in fact, on one such occasion she managed to make Lee Francis actually look normal in one particular photo - a feat which has not been matched since, and will probably never be!

Jude currently resides in the sleepy village of Grandborough, and is often found walking the village paths taking pictures of things that would not make a mere mortal person bat an eyelid.

Her plans for the future include a month long tour of east Asia. Including trips to China, Hong Kong, Vietnam, Cambodia and Thailand where she aims to take pictures that will really bring the east back to her friends in the west. Her pictures are so good, that they truly do make you feel as if you are in there with the scene!
