Jubba Airways is an airline based in Somalia. The airline was founded by Calgary entrepreneurs and service began in May 1998. Jubba Airways largely fills the niche left by the demise of state-owned Somali Airlines, and serves destinations in Southern Somalia (Mogadishu) as well as Somaliland (Hargeisa), Puntland (Bosaso) and Puntland (Gaalkacyo). Flights to the UAE (Dubai, Sharjah) and flights for Hajj pilgrims to Jeddah are important routes for the airline. Jubba's head offices are located in Dubai and in Mogadishu.
