[edit] American Chemical Society
Hi !
I noticed that you are a chemist in the United States and wondered if you would be interested in taking a look at this discussion, which is about the current characterization of the American Chemical Society's position about climate change as being supportive of the IPCC (see Scientific opinion on climate change#American Chemical Society).
I thought that you might either be aware of whether this characterization is correct or could get input from the ACS about it.
In the event that this is of no interest to you, please excuse the disturbance.

- Hi again,
- I wanted to thank you for taking the time to weigh in with your point of view in the discussion. I think it settles it. I still hold a little doubt with regard to all the qualifiers, what they were supposed to tell us, and especially how they were put in the statement, but right now I am no chemist and thus, far from the ACS thinking. Best. --Childhood's End 05:08, 19 August 2007 (UTC)
