The Journey to Greece Study Travel Program
The Journey to Greece (JTG) is a summer study-travel program for university students. This program is designed to immerse college age students in a learning situation that experiences Greek culture, language and heritage. All students take two courses and earn six university credits over the course of four weeks.
The Journey to Greece is a program sponsored by the AHEPA Educational Foundation. AHEPA is the oldest and largest non-profit, Greek cultural organization, founded in Atlanta, GA in 1922. The study travel program is offered through a partnership with the University of Indianapolis, Athens Campus. UINDY is a fully accredited University owned by the US parent based in Indiana and is a founding member of the American Colleges in Greece.
UINDY maintains a complete University Campus in the heart of Athens. The Cultural Center is located at the ancient Roman Agoura, below the Acropolis. UINDY provides students a full range of University facilities, including library and study center, computer labs and student apartments equipped with ADSL internet connections and computer workstations.
The JTG program combines classroom teaching with excursions to sites of interest, allowing students to earn transferable university credit while studying and learning about Greek history and culture.
Classes of the Journey study-travel program are taught in English from experienced instructors.
