Journal of Asian American Studies is an academic journal founded in 1998 and is the official publication of the Association for Asian American Studies. The journal publishes scholarly articles exploring theoretical developments, research interests, policy and pedagogical issues. It also includes reviews of books and other media that relate to the Asian American experience. The editor is Dr. George Anthony Peffer of Castleton State College.
The journal is published three times each year in February, June, and October. Circulation is 895 and the average length of an issue 110 pages.
