[edit] Welcome to Wikipedia!

Dear Joshua BishopRoby: Welcome to Wikipedia, a free and open-content encyclopedia. I hope you enjoy contributing. To help get you settled in, I thought you might find the following pages useful:

Don't worry too much about being perfect. Very few of us are! Just in case you are not perfect, click here to see how you can avoid making common mistakes.

If you are stuck, and looking for help, please come to the New contributors' help page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Or, you can just type {{helpme}} on your user page, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions.

Wikipedians try to follow a strict policy of never biting new users. If you are unsure of how to do something, you are welcome to ask a more experienced user such as an administrator. One last bit of advice: please sign any discussion comment with four tildes (~~~~). The software will automatically convert this into your signature which can be altered in the "Preferences" tab at the top of the screen. I hope I have not overwhelmed you with information. If you need any help just let me know. Once again welcome to Wikipedia, and don't forget to tell us about yourself and be BOLD!

Hi! You've added {{RPG}} to a lot of RPG articles. That template isn't for RPG articles in general, but rather for the "RPG series" of articles; that is, the ones mentioned on the template. I'm removing it from the pages you've added it to.

Thanks for your other contributions, though, and welcome to Wikipedia! Percy Snoodle 15:27, 13 April 2006 (UTC)

And thus I am a reformed wikipedian. Joshua BishopRoby 22:01, 13 April 2006 (UTC)

[edit] MI7 (clan)

This was a non-notable group of people as per the criteria set out in WP:BIO. (aeropagitica) 21:24, 6 November 2006 (UTC)

  • Yeah, I calved them off from the main MI7 article. They didn't especially belong there, either. -- Joshua BishopRoby 21:37, 6 November 2006 (UTC)

Notability of Ronin publishing (psychedelia)

A tag has been placed on Ronin publishing (psychedelia), requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable, that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Wikipedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert notability may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is notable, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Dan0 00 01:58, 27 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Whittier, California

You did a great job editing the recently added controvery section [1] that was added to the Whittier, California article. BlankVerse 14:01, 27 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] E. Lucy Braun

Hi. The Emma Lucy Braun page which you created in Oct 06 is an important page; thanks for creating it. But it has been from the very beginning an outright copy of the Encarta page, and therefore in violation of copyright. Please consider a new start on the page, since it is important. [edit] "Minor" edits

You seem to be marking all of your edits as minor. I can see you've been around a while so I figure it's just a mistake under your preferences, but I wanted to let you know. Kafziel Talk 01:50, 6 December 2007 (UTC)
