[edit] Nationality and Period

She was born in Austria, outside of Vienna, making her Austrian. I would have to say also that her career bridges the Classical and Romantic periods, because she was in an opera from Beethoven's middle/late period. 70.101.160.105 12:22, 10 October 2007 (UTC)
