"...I believe that the White American people do not have a problem with an millions of Irish and European immigrants coming into the United States but for some reason they seem to have a problem with us Latinos."

Ok, ladies and gents...prepare yourselves for an intellectually stimulating rant.

They (the European/Irish immigrants) had to go through the strenuous LEGAL issues there are in LEGALly immigrating. Talk to people who are relatively new to the country...(i.e. Africans, Europeans, Asians, etc.) and ask them what they think about illegal immigration. Garaunteed they'll say that it's unfair as well. They had to wait MONTHS to legally move here, whereas illegal immigrants just have to jump the border. How in God's name is that fair? In California, they have a college scholarship specifically FOR illegals, whereas, if you're an American teenager attending college, you know how hard it is to pay for school even with a HARD EARNED scholarship...again...fair? Not only that, but they aren't even citizens...and...at risk of sounding like a redneck, they leech off of our tax money.

The way I see it, however, the problem is NOT illegal immigration, rather, it's the United State's immigration system...it takes FOREVER!! If we had a more efficient system for legally immigrating to the states, there would cease to be a problem. Bam...problem f-ing solved.

While I must say that I agree with you 100%, this is not the place to discuss such things.

  • How the fuck is this relevant?
    • Uhm, buddy... this page is for the discussion of the article itself, not the viewpoints of the 'actor.' Perhaps you could send him a letter. 165.134.121.36 (talk) 19:04, 21 May 2008 (UTC)
