the article on the SII (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/St._Ignatius_Institute}) says it was a million dollar gift.

the details are somewhat confusing; I removed the dead cite link here, added an article from the San Francisco Chronicle which mentions the dispute, and altered the wording to reflect that source. --Sfmammamia (talk) 23:26, 5 June 2008 (UTC)
