Joshua Katcher is a video artist, television producer, filmmaker, sculptor, and activist living in Brooklyn, NY. He is currently the CEO of Perhaps Media, a television/video production company based in New York City.

Joshua Katcher was born and raised in Poughkeepsie, New York. He graduated from the BFA program in Art Video at Syracuse University, New York in 2003. He began his career as an artist in the late 90's, working on the feature film Exist, by Esther Bell

Joshua Katcher has been curating video art exhibitions since 2001. While in Syracuse, NY, Joshua was co-curator of Spark Video: International and Spark: Home Video at the Spark Contemporary Art Space in downtown Syracuse. When he left Syracuse, he started Spark Video: Beacon in Beacon, New York which ran successfully from 2003-2004. RAW is the first international Video Art series in Brooklyn, NY to incorporate vegan dining. The successful launch event took place on August 12th, 2007 at Monkeytown in Williamsburg. RAW came to an end in December 2007, and Joshua continues to seek a venue for the screenings.

Joshua had his first solo sculpture exhibition at Figureworks Gallery in Williamsburg Brooklyn in 2006. Many of Joshua's sculptures can be viewed online Joshua's work at Figureworks.

Joshua's video work has been exhibited internationally in festivals such as The Rotterdam International Film Festival, Cannes, and The New York Underground Film Festival. Many of Joshua Katcher's short documentaries have been commissioned by CurrentTV. His music video,'Severed', for The Wage of Sin was nomiated as 'Best Metal Video' in 2004, but did not receive the award. Katcher's music video for Dynasty Electric Duo, 'Hourglass' appeared on Much Music and several networks in Europe.
