Joshua Bassett

Joshua Bassett (c. 1641 – 1720) was an English academic, Master of Sidney Sussex College, Cambridge under James II.

After he had been installed as Master, he declared himself a Catholic convert and and controversially altered various aspects of college regulations and routine.
