Josh Boyer (born in Heath, Ohio[1]) is a current American football coaching assistant for the New England Patriots of the National Football League. After graduating from Muskingum College[1], he began his coaching career in 2000 as a graduate assistant at King's College, Pennsylvania, and then served in the same capacity at the University of Dayton in 2001 and Kent State University in 2002 and 2003. In 2004, Boyer served as the defensive backs coach at Bryant University. He then served as the defensive coordinator at the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology in 2005 before joining the Patriots in 2006.
