Joseph T. Ainsworth

Dr. Joseph T. Ainsworth began his association with M. D. Anderson in 1977 and was later appointed vice president for patient care.

Always an advocate for voluntarism, he firmly believes that it is important to provide the best possible medical treatment for patients as well as to offer a supportive atmosphere for them and their families.

The Joseph T. Ainsworth Volunteer Community Award honors Dr. Ainsworth and his continuing active involvement with many community projects.
