Joseph Saladino

Joseph Saladino is a member of the New York State Assembly and a former broadcast journalist. He represents the 12th Assembly district which includes Massapequa, Massapequa Park, Farmingdale and part of Levittown.
He was first elected in a special election on March 9, 2004. To date, he has been the prime sponsor of one piece of legislation that became law, a bill making the striped bass the official saltwater fish of New York.
He also helped push for Megan's Law, which eventually was passed.
