Joseph I. Breen

Joseph Ignatius Breen (October 14, 1890December 5, 1965) was an American film censor. He worked with the Motion Picture Producers and Distributors of America to enforce the Hays Code in film production.[1]

Breen held the position from 1933 until 1954.[2]
