Born and raised in Kensington, London[1] Gatt began his professional training at the Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts, graduating with a degree.[2]

Gatt shot his first film role in Greece, playing opposite Oliver Reed, in Orpheus & Eurydice.[3][4] Among other roles, Gatt performed in Miss Saigon, produced by Cameron Mackintosh[5] 'Len Miller' in ITV's police drama The Bill[6] Saurian, for the Sci-Fi Channel[7][8] 'Incubus' in Killing Ariel[9] and 'Uber Phantom' in the horror film Pulse (2006 film)[10] [11] produced by Wes Craven. Gatt has also performed leading roles as a motion capture actor[12]for Sony Computer Entertainment including 24: The Game and God of War II.

Gatt has sustained a successful career as a model in Europe and the United Kingdom working for Giorgio Armani, Vogue (magazine) UK, British Telecom, Levi's, Northern Rock, Gucci, and Guess (clothing) Jeans among others.[13]
