José de la Cruz Sánchez (November 8, 1799-1878) Eleventh Alcalde of San Francisco in 1845, and ranchero of the Buriburi ranch in present day San Bruno. Brother of Francisco Sanchez. Married to Josefa Ramona Eduarda Mercado y Sal and had eight children.
