José Ramón Balaguer Cabrera (born June 6, 1932 in Oriente, Cuba) is the current Minister for Health in Cuba. He is also a member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of Cuba and a member of the Council of State of Cuba. Balaguer is one of the six members of the Cuban Government designated by Fidel Castro in his transfer of duties.[1]
