José Oscar Bernardi (born June 20, 1954), nicknamed Oscar, is a noted Brazilian football (soccer) player, having been on the Brazil national football team and a member of São Paulo Futebol Clube and Associação Atlética Ponte Preta, and having played in defence at the Football World Cup in 1978, 1982, and as a reserve in 1986. He was capped sixty times for Brazil between April 1978 and May 1986.
Oscar also played for Japanese team Nissan FC. He now runs an athletic training center in Monte Sião, Minas Gerais.
