José Albano Ferreira da Mota is a Portuguese manager in charge of FC Paços de Ferreira in the BWINLIGA. Mota was born in Paredes, Portugal on February 2, 1964. Jose Mota spent his whole career at his boyhood team FC Paços de Ferreira where he played from 1983 to 1996 leading the club as it's Captain during many season. In the 2006/2007 season in the Portuguese Liga, Mota led FC Paços de Ferreira to the UEFA Cup for the first time where they lost only 1-0 to Dutch giants AZ.Mota began coaching FC Paços de Ferreira, during the 1999/2000 season and has been there ever since.
