José Antonio Montañez, born March 25 1989, also known as Monti, is a singer in the band Menudo.
He is Puerto Rican, originally from Caguas, but now lives in Laredo, Texas. He graduated from United High School, where he was a member of the choir.
He loves sea animals.Dolphins and killer whales being his favorite. A necessity of his is Chapstick. He carries some with him wherever he goes. His favorite flavor of chapstick is Cherry. Monti's favorite colors are Blue and Green. One of the drinks that he like is Tampico.
His groupmates are Carlos Olivero, Chris Moy, Emmanuel Vélez Pagán, and José Bordonada Collazo
