José Ignacio Aizpúrua Alzaga (born May 5, 1970 in Irún, Spain) is a former football (soccer) goalkeeper. He came to football relatively late, starting a professional career at Real Unión at the age of 23 in 1993. After a season at the club he left for UD Salamanca, where he played for 8 years and made 167 league appearances. He spent a season long loan spell at Levante in 2002 and moved permanently the year later. However he was out of favour at Ciudad de Valencia and after making just 6 appearances in 3 years, he retired in 2006.
