Joseph Denieffe a native of Kilkenny, was one of the first members of the Irish Republican Brotherhood, established in Ireland on St. Patrick's Day 1858. Author of A Personal Narrative of the Irish Revolutionary Brotherhood, a personal account of the Fenian Movement in both Ireland and America.
