Although this image is subject to copyright, its use is covered by the U.S. fair use laws because:

1. No free images are known to exist, and, given the nature of the work, none are likely to be released.
2. The image is of much lower resolution and size than the original (copies made from it will be of very inferior quality).
3. The month and year of publication are clearly visible
4. The image illustrates magazine published by the The José Carreras International Leukaemia Foundation on the 10th anniversary of the German branch of the foundation, both of which are discussed in the article in the section on Humanitarian Work. As such it adds significantly to the article.
5. The image is used for identification and informational purposes, and is not believed to detract significantly from the original work.
