[edit] Image uploads, Tim Warner: A Life in the Clouds

Hi, while patrolling new images, I noticed your image uploads and the article that you created on Tim Warner: A Life in the Clouds. Please note that some of your images are missing a copyright tag. (To see a list of images that you have uploaded, go here.) If you own the copyright to these images, which I am assuming that you do from your username, {{PD-self}} is fine as a tag to use and if you add that tag to Image:Squigglesguitarsmall.JPG and Image:Squigglesguitar.JPG, everything will be fine from that standpoint.

You may also want to take a look at Wikipedia:Conflict of interest, Wikipedia:Autobiography, Wikipedia:Notability (fandom), and Wikipedia:Verifiability. In general, Wikipedia discourages you from writing about yourself, the company you work for, things you have produced, etc. Also, though there is no firm guideline on "fan fiction" or other ameture-produced films, unless there is substantial media attention pertaining to the work (eg Star Trek: New Voyages), articles concerning fan fiction are generally deleted). It may be helpful, if your film has received any media attention, for you to add links or cite the media source as a reference. BigDT 03:34, 26 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Orphaned fair use image (Image:Readsilverliningsmall.JPG)

Thanks for uploading Image:Readsilverliningsmall.JPG. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you.
